HUNGARIKUM

Out of musical instruments is was first the tárogató to receive the honorable title. Above the fact that it received the highly appreciated qualification of outstanding national value, it was also lifted to the top of the value-piramid and received the title HUNGARIKUM in 2015, based on the nomination by the Committee under the same name.

The name Hungarikum is an umbrella term meaning a highly outstanding performance of Hungarians, indicating a value worth for distinction and enhancement, and which at the same time is distinctively characteristic of Hungarians as nature, uniqueness, speciality and quality.
